An insight to my card designs, tutorials, videos and tips. If somebody tells you that you have enough craft supplies and you don't need anymore... stop talking to them! You don't need that kind of negativity in your life!

MAN MONDAY
Good morning crafty friends
I hope you are all keeping well and staying safe
Our grandson will be 12 on Wednesday, his present (bought just before Christmas) is wrapped and waiting for him, who knows when he'll now get it. I had already made his card but thought it best to send another one to his mum's home too. Max lives approximately 16 miles from us, with his mother, my son lives nearer to us and he's hoping to see his son on his birthday. I really hope he does plus, bearing in mind, Boris has said children can visit both parents
So I've only used bits and pieces for this card for Max, it's amazing when you open a box and find all sorts of goodies, hence the stickers
Can you see the the silver embossed up with No 1 on it?
I used a dark blue card as a base, then a very pale blue followed by the mid blue panel that was embossed
I typed the sentiment, die cut it using, to keep with the theme of football(s) and used a stamp to stamp around the edge of the circle
The embossing folder was just short of embossing the whole of the card but that suited me as I could stamp the happy birthday at the bottom
We have a nephew also celebrating a birthday this week, he's called Ben and he'll be 10! I couldn't resist using this image for him
I used Google and asked for printable downloads of Ben 10. I don't have any skin coloured pens of any make (must add those to my list) hence leaving face and arms white
Thank you for popping by today, please take care!
June x

ReplyDeleteJust catching up. I know I am confined to the house apart from our daily walk but somehow the time goes so quickly !! Time to craft with a clear conscience too !! Thank you for sharing this card with us as boys can be difficult to make for at times and I appreciate any help I can get !!
ReplyDeleteLovely cards for the boys June! Both they are very pretty!
ReplyDeleteTwo fabulous cards, June. I'm sure the boys will be thrilled to receive them. My great niece will be celebrating her birthday this week. I've sent her card, but no idea when I can get her present to her. It's breakable, so I don't want to risk posting it. xx
