BUTTERFLIES & FRIDAY FREEBIE

Good morning my crafty friends

Here we are again hitting the weekend, how do these weeks/months go by so quickly, and,  because I'm in the group of 'extremely vulnerable' the furthest I've been in just over 4 weeks is 12 steps into our garden!  I've not missed going out/socialising, that could be because of the severity of this devastating virus, and it's locked in my head  that I'm in for the 12 weeks isolation

The butterfly is a digi stamp and I'm sorry I can't remember from where.  I will let you know when I do remember!  I love the stamp so it's shocking I can't remember the source!

I used one pixie powder to colour it and started on the left side with a light wash, gradually darkening as I veered to the right

When it was dry I embossed it then went over the whole area with 'Wink Of Stella'

So ladies, how many faces can you see in the image and, there is a famous name in there too,  let me know your answers please

This week's freebie is a sweet embossing folder by Couture Creations, named 'Pure Pleasure'

If you would like your name added to the draw please leave a comment, on this post,
by 6pm Saturday and the winner will be announced on Sunday's blog post

We also ship internationally, at no expense to you

Thank you for popping by today, please stay safe!

  1. Lovely card June - makes quite a statement! Found 3 faces (not sure if there is a fourth!!) and the name (AH).
I have ventured a little further, but only left the house twice, and then back within 15 mins!! Finding loads to do! Take Care!

    1. Thank you Lyn

You're quite correct, 3 faces and the name. The faces aren't that prominent until you add colour

It isn't so bad when you can keep yourself busy for most of the day

  8. Gorgeous card June. I have found three faces but not the name yet. Will keep looking. Only been out for 5 mins at a time to the post box at corner of the road. Not happy if I see anyone else out.

  12. A fabulous butterfly image June which lends itself to a wonderful canvas or CAS card design and the colour you have chosen looks fab. The three hidden faces of Audrey Hepburn was a fun additional detail to this image too, I hope you can recall the company that this image belongs to as I'm sure lots of people would love to own it too.
    Take care,

  16. That is an impressive stamp, so different and I love it in the green? I'm sorry you have been in isolation so long, but as my Nurse niece says, it's that or maybe dieing? So we are doing everything we should too, although one visit a week to shop, keeping it to the minimum for any contact.
    Keep safe and well
