Good morning crafty friends

When I posted this card last week

it was my second attempt to produce something as I wasn't happy at all with the first card, this one below, it has sat on my work table until yesterday

I think because I was too heavy handed stamping that one feather that is much darker than the others, but you now see where the 3 feathers came from on last week's card
Anyway, having looked at it for a while I decided to show it to you

that feather is very much 'in your face', but, in the flesh,  it seems to have softened!

thank you for visiting today, please stay safe!

  1. Mauve card is really pretty - yes one feather does 'pop' out, but make a feature of it - add gems or a white glitter to 'dull' it down!! Personally, I like it 'popping'!!

    1. Thank you Lyn. I've added a little glitter to it

  2. I absolutely love this card pure and simple but fantastic

  3. Hi June your card is gorgeous. That is a lovely stamp. Take care. Hugs Jackie

  5. Great card, June - love the colours and I like it as it is.

  6. I love it that the flowers are all stamped differently. You could try to tone down the colour with a little bit gesso or white paint.

  7. How funny, yours is the second blog post today with a card from "before" which was not liked, but, after a time was recognised as maybe different to what you usually do, but nevertheless is as beautiful as the rest of your work. We are our own worst enemies aren't we?
    Keep safe and well

  8. Hello June, gorgeous first card, it's a fabulous CAS design, very elegant.
Your previously made card is just lovely, glad your showed it. the more pronounced image you could spotlight it make a feature of it, Kate x

  9. Oh so sweet, June - such a striking card design and I just love your use of the feathers. I've not heard of John Next store so that's interesting - I really like your card, be proud!
