MASK UP!

Good afternoon crafty friends!

I've seen several YouTubers make a card similar to todays, this is my version

The mask is easy to make.  I found it easier to use paper instead of lightweight cardstock
Base card is 4"x 6", with a panel of pretty blue dotted paper then the final white card

The mask is 23/4" x 21/8" (7cm x 5.1cm)  score on the long side at:

1/25/8"  1"  11/8"  11/2"  15/8"

Fold valley/mountain, add adhesive tape to the back on the top and bottom, then on the sides and press firmly to ensure the pleats stay in place

I used very thin strips of white card for the mask loops and secured the mask in place with dabs of hot glue, as well as adding a very large 'dollop' of hot glue in the centre of the mask

A Christmas stamp set is this week's 'Friday Freebie'

Please leave a comment on today's post and your name will be entered into the draw

You have until 6pm Saturday to do so and the winner will be announced on Sunday's blog

We also ship internationally at no cost to you

Please note that all cards and 'Friday Freebies' from the past two weeks have now been posted.  I am unable to go outside as I have to isolate for 12 weeks and hubby has been unable to post the goodies until a couple of days ago

Thank you for popping by today, please stay safe!

  6. Oh my goodness June, that mask couldn't be cuter. What a great way to send a cheery card to someone else in isolation..and a fun way to use up paper scraps. I'll have to try this one.
