Good morning my crafty friends

I was a day ahead of myself yesterday, asking if you all had a had a good weekend, I hope you did!

Hubby and I went for groceries yesterday, first thing when the store opened, my first visit for over 3 months and it was so quiet, just a couple more people but it did make me feel a tad jumpy to say the least

Today I'm using a paper from the same craft box, all I added were my own flowers and stamped the inside of the card and envelope

Thank you for your kind comments on yesterday's card

It's a 7"x 7" ivory card base and I added smaller layers of black then green cardstock

These papers are 8"x8" so I used some of the cut off paper for the centre of the card and the remaining paper I will use a flower punch for quite and easy filler flowers etc

I did go around the paper edges with a ProMarker

The centre piece has mounting foam on the back, the ribbon and pearls are from the same craft box

A tip for when you use ribbon and it's creased or, like this one, was wrapped around card and left the lines, I use a spare hair straightener and run it quickly down the ribbon before the tool was too hot,  works every time

I made the flower, I used pink card for that then added a deeper colour of distress oxide ink

pretty paper - CC craft box
ribbon and pearls - CC craft box
stamps inside the card - unknown
Rococo Rose ink pad & stampin' blends - S U
seedless preserves distress oxide ink - Ranger
Thank you for visiting today, please stay safe

  12. This is a gorgeous card June! I already love the papers but that flower is so impressive. I haven't tried handmade flowers yet..and am resisting it because of all the work involved. The distress inking gives such wonderful dimension.
