THROWBACK THURSDAY

Good morning my crafty friends

Last Sunday we celebrated our 23rd wedding anniversary and in 2014 we decided not to send/buy/make new cards but to write in the same one until it was full.  So we now do that, date it and leave a little message.  My card to hubby is looking a tad dog-eared but I'll continue to add the date to it each year until I pop my clogs

It's a 7" square with a smaller white panel, then another smaller, pierced white panel, red panel, a white embossed (Creative Expressions) panel and finally a white die cut piece of card, possibly Spellbinders

The tree branch is by Creative Expressions, as is the heart, both sentiments were typed and the tag one was adhered to red card

Two small red gems completed the card front

Thank you for your kind comments on yesterday's post, stay safe!

June x

  12. Belated anniversary wishes,50yrs and we gave up giving each othe cards years ago but saying that this is a brilliant idea-we have just thrown a boxful of assorted cards that have been kept over the years -we had a new roof put in and everything was covered in black dust and fibre glass so nothing salvagable!Love the card by the way

    1. That's one way to have a good clear out Carol! I now only keep the ones from our 2 sons, grandson and best friends, but I do up-cycle some of the other pretty/nice ones too
