THROWBACK THURSDAY

CARD & CAKE

Good morning crafty friends

Your comments on yesterday's card were gratefully received, thank you

Another throwback from 2017 and Jessica will now be 3

For more years than I care to remember I have made and decorated cakes and then when the rheumatoid disease worsened I had to stop.  My wonderful husband (don't tell him that čśë) who, naturally, I've trained to my standard, I can indulge, again, in the odd celebration cakes/cupcakes

I was asked to make a two tier christening/first birthday cake for Jessica

The DL size card was ideal to use, especially as I had previously used a Martha Stewart punch along the side of the card, and I thought the flowers matched some of the ones on the cake

I found this paper in my stash and it was a good match for the colours on Jessica's cake,
I didn't have a rabbit die or stamp and had to draw one, as you can clearly tell!

Jessica's cake is a pale lemon.  The bottom tier is chocolate and the top lemon
