Good morning crafty friends
I was asked to make two cards recently, a 'G&T' card and a
'Fruits et Legumes'
I only had stamps with pears and apples, couldn't find any grape stamps online and even asked friends in Canada if they could find anything suitable, they couldn't so I worked with the two I own
The base card is an 8"square with smaller panels of green then white card
The centre panel is green with white on top, what doesn't show is the embossed lines I added on the top of one side and the bottom opposite side on the white card
Another smaller panel of green then white card, the white was embossed using an old Spellbinders folder with a brick wall design. I then coloured it diagonally using 'rusty hinge' distress oxide by Ranger
The pear stamp is by Clarity and I used my new Altenew watercolour half-pans to colour in the image. Once dry I fussy cut the image and added mounting foam to the back
The basket of apples are from a magazine freebie and coloured with the above paints
The frame was made using the stitched square die set by Sue Wilson and I made a double frame using the green and white card
The sentiment is by Clarity and the grasses are another magazine freebie
You've seen the Gin & Tonic card before but I had left both the inside of the card and the envelope blank
The sentiment is by Crafter's Companion
I stamped and coloured the glasses on the bottom of the card inside and using several of SU's stampin' write markers to colour in the fruits, straws and umbrellas
on the back of the envelope I stamped the sentiment below and added "or a G&T"
The stamp set also has a coordinating die set and is by Daisy Mae Design, 'Cheers - It's Drinks O'clock Stamp Set & 'Cheers - It's Drinks O'clock Die Set, both available from CraftStash
Thank you for popping by today, stay safe!
