Good morning crafty friends
Your lovely comments on yesterday's cards is much appreciated, thank you
I don't think I've bought any Christmas dies, stamps or embossing folders for nearly 2 years now! That has just prompted me into remembering I have bought something, Christmas papers and a Christmas tree punch both by Stampin' Up! Neither of which are on today's festive card
I'm a glutton for punishment with my never ending battle using mirri card, actually I don't have a problem with mirri until it comes to photographing it. Today's card was taken outside at dusk and I did my best to keep my head out of shot, had my arms been another 12" longer it would have worked
I used a sheet of A4 gold mirri, scored in half to give me an A5 card then added a smaller red panel and, on top of that, a smaller gold mirri panel. I was hoping my oblong die sets would be the right size as it would have made a big difference with the panels having a stitched border.... note to self, make smaller cards and check out SU's oblong die set
The poinsettia dies are by Sue Wilson/CE, I'm sure I've bigger dies than these and I hope they materialise soon.... another note to self, watch hubby more carefully when he is 'helping' me move craft rooms so I know where my stash is!
The sentiment is also by Sue Wilson and I die cut it 3 times, glued it together to give some depth to the card
I threw caution to the wind and added 4 flowers instead of the obligatory odd number as well as adding Wink of Stella to the petals. I don't have any yellow flower soft, every colour actually other than yellow, so added a black gem to each centre of the flower
This week's FF is a stamp and e/f set
I thought the cute animals could always be used on a baby card
Please leave a comment if you would like your name added to the draw and you have until 6pm Saturday to do so, the winner will be announced on Sunday's blog
We also ship internationally at no cost to you
I'm now officially allowed to venture out after being in the house for nearly 5 months so cards and Friday wins will be posted in a more orderly fashion
Thank you for popping by today, stay safe and have a good weekend
June x

Gorgeous card June. Love the colours. Enjoy your weekend.
ReplyDeleteWow, the mirri card and those die cut poinsettias make such an elegant and spectacular card design June!! You did a fabulous job photographing that mirri card too...which never works for me.
ReplyDeleteThis gorgeous card would double as a table decoration as well as a card! I'm always nervous about trying floral dies like this but what a great result you have. Thank you for the chance to win this adorable stamp set too.
ReplyDeleteOH! June I love that you made this fabulous card, but not with the new stuff LOL. Why do we do that? As for the mirror card, it's a right pain isn't it? but at least you CAN see it's mirror card and on your card it's perfect for Christmas. Love it.
